Why Aloe Ferox does not need to be filtered like the Aloe Vera plant

Unlike Aloe Vera, Aloe Ferox does not need to be filtered, therefore it has a higher nutrient concentration as nothing is lost during the filtration process.

The leaves of the Aloe Vera plant are soft so ‘aloin’ penetrates into the white pulp, this is why many manufacturers often filter or chemically neutralise the product to remove the ‘aloin’ content. Aloin can cause unwanted side effects such as electrolyte imbalance, diarrhea, and abdominal pain.

The leaves of the Aloe Ferox plant are physically a much stronger plant so does not allow any aloin to enter, consequently it does not need to be filtered.

The freshly cut leaf of Aloe ferox produces approximately 20 times more bitter sap, weight by weight, than the Aloe vera.

Directions of use:

Adults intake: 2 tablespoons pure or blended with fruit juice. To consume preferably before meals.

Storage:

Unopened – keep in a cool dark place, away from direct sunlight.

Once opened – Keep refrigerated and consume within 6 weeks.
